I have 3 frank sinatra sets. frankly sentimental, c-185. songs by sinatrs volume one, c-124. the voice of frank sinatra, c-112. all by columbia records. are they worth anything?

I defy anybody to listen to “In The Wee Small Hours”, “Where Are You”,
“Only The Lonely” and “No One Cares” back to back. I have those albums
for twenty seven years, and I still find them too heartbreaking in large
chunks. No one before or since has captured the essence of loneliness
so well.
The only recent contender for such desolate music which was readily embraced by the public was Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black”. Amy was a huge FS fan, and tragically the same darkness she sang about eventually consumed her.

One of the bonus tracks on this despairing masterpiece is “I Could Have Told You”.
It doesn’t get much bleaker than that. FS was on Desolation Row long before the term became popular….
