I’ve previously written about Sinatra autographs and the need for caution when purchasing one found at an online auction. This caution should apply to other items as well, such as this obviously fake Sinatra concert poster from 1947. Knowledgeable fans will recognize a few problems with this item that I found listed on Ebay:
Sinatra and […]

The previously announced Sinatra channel on Sirius Satellite Radio is set to begin broadcasting on April 19th. More information is available here. It will be interesting to hear what sorts of rare concerts and archival material this show will introduce.
This morning I’ve seen two articles reference an Ebay auction for a 1935 Sinatra rendition of Stars in Your Eyes. Honestly, I have to think that someone has their facts mixed up because I don’t know any collectors who’ve heard of this one, which would have been recorded a full four years earlier than Sinatra’s […]

Sinatra Club member Vic Bovine writes the following in response to my posting yesterday about the new CD:
I am delighted to finally have the December 1957 Nelson Riddle arrangement of “If you are but a dream” on CD. I had it on my “This is Sinatra II LP” and played it so much it is […]

On the surface this might seem like just another repackaging of Sinatra tunes from the Capitol era. But look a little closer and the astute fan will notice two interesting inclusions. The first of these is the hard-to-find “If You Are But A Dream”, which was previously only available on expensive import CDs. The second, […]

For a starting bid of a mere 20,000 British Pounds you might one day be able to get behind the wheel of a car once own by none other than Frank Sinatra himself. Sinatra’s 1985 Chrysler LeBaron is up for sale.
Somehow I just can’t picture Frank behind the wheel of this one; it doesn’t seem […]

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis’ radio program is not nearly as well known as their movies and this is probably a shame because they can be just as hysterical in either medium. While I was aware of their radio programs, I was not aware that Frank Sinatra had appeared on one of them.
Well, here it […]

Most Sinatra collectors would love to have a genuine autograph in their collection. But how do you know what’s real? The United Autograph Collector’s Club has an article that analyzes Sinatra’s signing style over the years. It may be a bit long but it makes for interesting reading if you’re considering buying an ‘autograph’ on […]
In the realm of Columbia Extended Play (EP) records, many of the earliest issues are the rarest. Like most other categories of Sinatra recordings, there are few few ultra-rarities, but certainly many collectible titles, such as Christmas Songs By Sinatra. (The image above is from the LP, but the EP cover is nearly identical). This […]
Here’s a rarity you don’t often see. This is a first-edition release of the commemorative A Man and His Music on Reprise. While it often turns up in online auctions, what makes this copy so special is that the first edition was autographed by none other than Sinatra himself. The opening bid on this one […]
