He charmed, he moved, he cheered, he captivated listeners the world over. At times moving, stirring, authoritative, toe-tapping, stirring, eloquent, he rushed through a very busy life and career and he left behind hundreds of extraordinary recorded performances -- and brilliant orchestra arrangements -- by the finest arrangers and musicians of the both his time and all time.
