To Brian: The Chairman of the Board released an exceptional album in 1966 under the Reprise label called "Moonlight Sinatra". You are absolutely correct; moonlight was (and still is) a great theme. Another sleeper album that not too many fans are aware of is one called "Sinatra and Strings". His rendition of Misty and That's All are fabulous on this album. Check it out! Any true fan will enjoy these two albums.

All the best,

Hi,a fan for more years than I care to remember. It has often crossed my mind that a great title for a Sinatra compilation would be "Moonlight Sinatra" (it is an obvious title and may be around but I have missed it,if that is so" There is wealth of work that would be very appropriate to an album bearing this title, many with "moonlight" in the title too. I will start the list off with "Polka Dots and Moon Beams" "Old Devil Moon" "East of The Sun and West of The Moon" "The Moon Was Yellow" Fly Me To The Moon" "Moonlight In Vermont" It's Only A Paper Moon" "Stars Fell On Alabama", "Dancing in The Dark" Your collection could probably complete the list.

Regards

I'm on the fence with this new offering because I really liked the "older" Sinatra's music - from late 50's right through to "Duets" Some of the songs would fill in some gaps in my huge collection - but although I don't like to miss anything Sinatra, I would love to read some reviews - so I think I'll wait.
