An Interview With Sid Mark

Long-time Sinatra fans are no doubt familiar with Philadelphia DJ Sid Mark, who for 50 years has hosted the popular radio program, The Sounds of Sinatra.
Today, All About Jazz  published an extensive interview with Sid. The article talks about the history of the program, includes photos and anecdotes about Sinatra and generally makes for fascinating reading.

If only I could still receive Sid’s program here in NYC, as I once did… But that’s another story.

I went to the radio stations website and found out that not only can you still hear the show, they even have a few episodes in the archive section!

    ON YOUR COMPUTER OR iPOD!

If not listening live (and the article above lists the times its on) the archived shows can be heard without a iPod by right clicking on the center download button and clicking on “save target as”- then play back when finished downloading.

Listen to Sinatra when you surf the web!
