The Stardust was absolutly the best. In 1976 I drove a customized van from NY to Vegas and stayed at the Stardust.
From 76 until 2007 I went to the Stardust three times a year.
Blackjack tournaments and Craps games. What a wonderful experience.

I say keep the old places they have much more character

I was very sad to see the Stardust go down. I was an old friend and I stayed there many times. Some of the cocktail waitreses were there during the Sinatra years and some served him among other celebs. Rest in Peace

It was very sad to see the fall of one of the greatest icons on the Las Vegas strip. My wife and I saw Wayne Newton in his theatre on several occasions before he moved to the Flamingo. I also had the pleasure of performing there on four occasions. It was one of the last nice resorts left at that end of the strip. Going back to Vegas will always be a thrill and I am continuing to perform at other resorts but I'll miss the Stardust forever.
