A documentary that aired yesterday on the Australian ABC television network purports to offer new details on Frank Sinatra’s visit to Havana and his ties to the mob, including an interview with a waiter who worked at the club at the time and claims to have been witness to much of the proceedings.
I don’t know if there is any plan to show this in the United States or Europe. If anyone has additional information on this program please share what you know in the comments section of this post.

I watched this documentary when it aired on the BBC in the UK earlier this year. Frankly, (pardon the pun) it revealed nothing that has not already been said about Mr Sinatra’s *alleged* mafia connections. The documentary focused on his career as singer and actor and whether it was achieved partly through these underworld connections. In my opinion this documentary is to be taken with a LARGE pinch of salt!
