Frank Sinatra Autographs - What’s Real?

Most Sinatra collectors would love to have a genuine autograph in their collection. But how do you know what’s real? The United Autograph Collector’s Club has an article that analyzes Sinatra’s signing style over the years. It may be a bit long but it makes for interesting reading if you’re considering buying an ‘autograph’ on Ebay or other sites. I’ve long felt that most were fake and have seen some obviously bad ones. This article discusses the issue at length and concludes it is risky, to say the least, to purchase one of Sinatra’s supposed autographs online. My rule of thumb has always been this: If the price is $50, it can’t possibly be the genuine article.

99.5% of the Sinatra autographs on Ebay are fake. Many forgers attempt his signature. Thankfully he is impossible to forge (to the EXPERIENCED EYE). I have to track 300 posting before I find an authentic example.

The seller of the SINatra signed contract (Anchors Away) above is legit (but from what I hear a real jerk to deal with). However, his prices are the HIGHEST in the industry by far. Charges typically 5-10 times value for his autographs. Maybe because he operates out of las vegas.

For Sale: Two postcards from the Sands in LasVegas, with Frank Sinatra’s autograph on one, and Rita Hayworth’s autograph on another.

Would you be interested in purchasing them. Delighted to email scanned pix of the front and back of each card for your review.

    Thank you.

I have an autograph that i am sure is real of frank sinatra. My grandma saw him perform at a restaurant called The Farm and afterwards she got one of the menus signed. However it doesn’t look much like the other signatures i’ve seen. The “F” is different, and has a cross through it.

My father met Frank Sintara at the Coconut Grove where he had a beer with him at a table. The time was May 15th, 1952. Frank signed his name on a piece of paper. Doris day was also there at the time, not with Frank Sintara. I am curious what the value of this autograph would be since this was just before the raise of his career.

Does anyone know the value of a genuine signed Sinatra photograph, circa 1960?

I specialize in Genuine Frank Sinatra autographs and I can tell you that unquestionably, 99% on Ebay are indeed fake. And, I hear all the time “I know it’s real”, well NO YOU DON’T, NOT unless you witnessed him sign it in front of you. The next best thing is a professional certification. Both PSA and JSA are pretty good. I guarantee ALL my Autographs authentic for life.

    Hi,
I possess a genuine signed black and white photo of FRANK SINATRA from 1975 which was given to my father with the dedication to me as my father was the chief waiter of the UK’S top hotel where Mr Sinatra stayed everytime he played in London - he knew my father well and the signed photo has remained in my care for over 30 years.

    What is its value ?

    Frank
