Today was release day for “Sinatra: Vegas” and what a day - the new boxed set immediately landed at #34 on Amazon Music’s top seller list. Not bad for a singer who passed away 8 years ago and whose best recordings were considered to have been made over 40 years ago!

The reaction has been, as expected, uniformly positive - not a clam in the bunch. I’m still savoring this new release; my favorite disc is still #1: Sands 1961. This might be the best Sinatra live set ever released.
